OUR PROJECTS

FULL VISION YOUTH ARTS INTENSIVE
The Full Vision Youth Arts Intensive is a series of hands-on performing and filmic arts workshops (THEATRE WORKSHOP, SPOKEN WORD WORKSHOP, MUSIC PRODUCTION WORKSHOP, FILMMAKING WORKSHOP, STAND-UP COMEDY WORKSHOP, BUSINESS OF SHOW BUSINESS WORKSHOP) designed to culminate in full-scale concert production and performance. Ours is an interdisciplinary and fun approach to inspiring, teaching and producing performing arts, mentoring, supporting positive values, healthy lifestyles and promoting the arts among East Bay at-risk youth. Real world methods are utilized to identify, encourage and support the next generation of Bay Area artists.

SPOKEN WORD & VOCALS TALENT COMPETITION
Presented in conjunction with the world renown Bay Area Black Comedy Competition & Festival, young performing artists learn the importance of self-discipline as well as how to train, prepare, compete and excel in a supportive environment within the context of a live talent competition.

YOUTH “EDUTAINMENT” FORUM
Professional Performing Artists, Entertainers, Film and Theatre Directors, Producers and Entertainment Industry Professionals teach, interact with and mentor youth in an open conversational forum designed to motivate young artists and give them practical and real world imformation on careers in the arts.

INSPIRED ARTIST AWARDS RECEPTION & CEREMONY

Presented in conjunction with The Bay Area Black Comedy Competition & Festival , the InSpired Artist Awards were established to celebrate the achievement of individuals and organizations that demonstrate excellence in their chosen field of endeavor and thereby providing positive images of the African American experience. Since its inception, the awards have honored over 40 distinguished individuals and organization in our community

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT EVENT INTERNSHIP TRAINING
Motivated young people who demonstrate they have an aptitude for and an interest in production receive the rare opportunity to get hands-on, real time experience working side by side with production professionals and professional performers during an actual live production. The situations are real. The particpants are challenged and enlightened. The environment is fast paced and electric. Youth selected for this program enjoy an experience they won't soon forget.

BAY AREA S.M.I.L.E.
Sharing-More-Intense-Laughter-Everyday
Our ongoing S.M.I.L.E. program Offers free and low-cost stand up comedy in the community as medicine for the spirit and as an healing elixir for the soul.

COMEDY EDUCATIONAL FORUM
Presented in conjunction with the world renown Bay Area Black Comedy Competition & Festival, The Comedy Educational Forum provides empowering, professional mentorship and instruction to young up and coming comedians in an open forum where ideas are shared and information is exchanged.
